Role Description/CriteriaWe are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated teacher specialising in Italian to join our close knit school community.Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and inclusive Italian language lessons to all primary year levels.Foster a love of language learning, cultural understanding, and global citizenship among students.Plan and implement the Italian language curriculum in line with the Victorian Curriculum.Incorporate interactive and creative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.Promote a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.Contribute to the positive and collaborative culture at OLHC by working closely with staff to integrate language and cultural learning across the curriculum. As an innovative and integral member of our school community you will: Create a nurturing learning environment which is learner-centred, safe, supportive, respectful and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practicesCollaborate with your peers to develop and implement a quality program and appropriate pedagogyAssess, provide feedback and report on student learningWork with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school communityProactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomesCollaborate and coordinate with the Leadership team and staff to provide opportunities for students to perform and showcase their artistic talents to share with the school communityEnsure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
