Join our team and be part of a mission-driven organization making a positive environmental impact Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced General Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring the seamless operation of solar and general electrical systems. Interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to plan the sequence and method of operations. Testing circuit continuity to ensure proper functionality. Cutting, selecting, and connecting wires and cables to terminals and connectors. Replacing faulty wiring and repairing defective components. Installing and positioning electrical switchboards. Connecting electrical systems to the power supply. Measuring and marking reference points for installations. Installing, testing, and adjusting electrical and mechanical components of lifts. Utilizing electrical and electronic testing equipment to identify and troubleshoot faults. Requirements Proven experience as a General Electrician, preferably in solar power systems. Relevant AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Relevant AQF Certificate IV. Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices. Proficiency in using electrical and electronic testing equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for projects.
