As part of an eCommerce business, you'll play a critical role in enhancing and scaling their platform. You'll work with: Backend Technologies: Node.js and TypeScript. Database: MySQL. Cloud Infrastructure: AWS and Terraform (knowledge of Terraform is a plus). While your primary focus will be backend development, your knowledge of front-end development will be an advantage in crafting seamless user experiences. Responsibilities: Build and maintain scalable, high-performance back-end systems using Node.js to support eCommerce operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions. Optimise and enhance existing systems to meet growing business needs. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members as required. Engage in cloud-based architecture and deployment, leveraging AWS and infrastructure-as-code practices. About You: Strong experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript. Knowledge of MySQL, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code principles (e.g., Terraform is a bonus). Some front-end experience or willingness to contribute is advantageous. Previous experience in eCommerce platforms or domains is a bonus .
