Key Responsibilities Distribution and Logistics Leadership : Manage and optimise domestic and international logistics, including freight contracts, carrier selection, and cost-effective routing. Ensure smooth coordination of packing and delivery schedules to align with production timelines. Address and resolve logistics challenges, maintaining the highest standards of quality and timeliness. Strategic Operations : Partner with the production team to create efficient supply and distribution plans. Drive process improvements through lean methodologies to maximise operational efficiency. Collaborate with management to align logistics operations with broader business goals. Sales Support and Market Development : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders. Support the development of sales initiatives by aligning operational capabilities with market needs. Monitor market trends and implement strategies to ensure the business remains competitive. Customer Engagement : Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring responsive and proactive communication. Preferred Attributes Solid knowledge of supply chain management, with experience in the food or agricultural industries highly regarded.
