Montreaux Pty Ltd T/A MATelec Australia Position – Permanent Full Time Salary - $80,000 - $100,000 a year Location – Shepperton VIC MATelec Australia is a significant player in the industry, sourcing, designing, manufacturing, and distributing an exceptional range of electrical products throughout the Oceania region. The manufacturing facility, located in Shepperton, Victoria, has capability to design, engineer, manufacture and deliver our range of products, both locally and abroad. We currently have opportunities within our Control Solutions Team in the role of Electrical Engineer. Duties and Responsibilities: System design, programming, and commissioning Consistently meeting predefined project targets The design and development of electrical control systems. Experienced in P&I Diagrams/Drawings, AutoCAD Electrical General Arrangement 2D Drawings, AutoCAD Electrical Circuit Diagrams Experience in PLC Programming – Allen Bradley, Siemens & Omron Understanding of Comms Protocols - Modbus/BACnet etc Liaison with internal departments including Sales, Operations and Production. Oversee post-production system functionality testing. Troubleshooting system or function errors. Preparing documentation for system design and process development. Provide remote Technical Support to on-site system installers. We require someone with the following: Engineering degree in Electrical is preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Understanding and prior experience with relevant Australian Standards. Ability to liaison with clients of the company to understand application needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Work independently requiring minimal supervision.
