About You We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse or Operations Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, particularly in Retail or 3PL industries. This role will suit someone who embodies discipline, demonstrates emotional intelligence, and has a genuine passion for leading, mentoring, and developing teams. You’ll bring: • Proven Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a team of 20 warehouse staff to achieve and exceed KPIs. • Operational Expertise: Skilled in managing a large warehouse and optimising operations for maximum efficiency. • Commitment to Excellence: Strong focus on OH&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive workplace. • Problem-Solving Ability: Drive for continuous improvement and readiness to implement innovative solutions. • Forklift (LF) License: Desirable but not essential. • Resilience and Drive: Ability to maintain high energy levels and team morale in a demanding environment. The Role Based at our Melbourne Distribution Centre, one of our largest and busiest warehouses in the country - you’ll oversee imports, exports, and distribution to stores and customers across Victoria. Your key responsibilities will include: • Driving efficiency and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations. • Managing financial objectives by forecasting needs, budgeting, and ensuring operational cost-effectiveness. • Maintaining stock integrity and ensuring seamless receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes. • Planning and implementing warehouse layout improvements, equipment maintenance, and repair schedules. • Leading by example - being ready to step into warehouse tasks when needed. • Promoting a positive, safe, and productive environment for all team members. Location and Operating Hours: • 385 Frankston-Dandenong Rd, Dandenong South VIC 3175 • Monday to Sunday 5:00am – 11:00pm Why Wait?
