The Client: Gybe Consulting are recruiting a Senior Graphic Designer based in Brisbane for a nationally recognized retailer. Working with a highly functioning marketing team, this role will design elements for campaigns, including catalogues, POS and other supporting marketing collateral. The Role: As a Senior Graphic Designer, this position will be responsible for creating digital and print collateral across the main brand, sub-brands and products. Responsibilities include; Ensuring projects are completed at a high quality and on schedule. Establishing creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines. Prioritising and managing multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions. Collaborating, brainstorming, and strategising with the Marketing Team and other stakeholders for a wide range of materials. Creating a range of collateral for retail brand, sub brands and private label brands, including the national catalogue, press ads, POS, signage, brochures, packaging and digital assets. Implementing creative solutions to deliver outcomes which respond to business and marketing requirements whilst supporting brand identity. Delivering design solutions which embrace best-practice approaches across print and digital media, from concept through to finished art. Driving collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to understand requirements, interpreting briefs and concepts and determining strategies to deliver clear messages to target audiences. Preparing layouts or mock-ups of designs using illustration, text, photography, colour and computer-generated imagery (AI) and present designs for review and approval. Conducting a range of support activities, including working with suppliers to deliver high quality outcomes. Guiding and advising fellow team members in both the creative process and client management to foster stronger working relationships and solutions. Communicating and facilitating the art direction and formatting of design deliverables and producing necessary communications pieces in both print and digital environments. Experience Required: To be considered for this opportunity, you will have a proven background as a senior designer working across both print and digital mediums. Your portfolio will display your technical competency across assets including website, digital marketing, packaging design and marketing collateral. You will ideally come from a retail or consumer centric background. Technical Skills Extensive knowledge and experience in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud apps on a Mac platform Knowledge of marketing automation platforms Experience with HTML and motion graphics a plus Strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker able to offer a variety of design solutions.
