The Opportunity The Project Manager will lead multiple Consultant Design Teams to successfully deliver all phases of rail infrastructure projects, from inception to completion. This role involves working closely with the Estimating Team to develop cost-effective and efficient construction methodologies while ensuring that technical requirements, design quality, and code compliance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring all aspects of design, scope, construction, and financial control are executed to the highest standard. This position will also involve contract management, procurement, and advising on procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate multiple Consultant Design Teams across all project phases, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with project objectives. Work closely with the Estimating Team to develop and review cost-effective and efficient construction methodologies. Oversee and manage the technical aspects of rail infrastructure projects from commencement to completion, ensuring the effective execution of all project requirements. Develop and manage project plans, including defining the scope, providing design advise, and documenting cost estimates for funding purposes. Manage the coordination of building works and ensure that construction activities align with project goals. Manage the preparation and administration of purchase orders, contractual agreements, and contract performance reviews. Qualifications: Proven experience in managing large-scale rail infrastructure projects, including design, construction, and financial management. Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading multiple design teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Expertise in construction methodologies, procurement strategies, contract administration, and financial control. Ability to manage scope, schedules, and budgets effectively while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Solid understanding of project procurement, including consultant and contractor selection and contract negotiation.
