This role will allow for autonomy, a fast-paced sales role, ability to work for a multinational enterprise all whilst being competitively remunerated, achieve quarterly financial bonus on offer and be based in their national head office daily Your new role Your new role will see you reporting to the Sales Manager working 8am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Your new role will see you covering the Victorian & Tasmanian region as your remit, managing quarterly booking targets for new and existing business for capital equipment sales. Your clients will range from end users, OEMs, contractors, consultants and resellers. You will be comfortable with sales targets, and ambitious to grow in a company where there is a consistent proven track record of being enabled. Your role will see you equipped with everything reasonably needed to do your role, including vehicle, fuel card etc. to allow for 70% site-based visits and 30% office. Your main duties will see you; Selling and introducing a range of compressor (capital equipment) products to new (30%) and all existing clients in your remit (70%); Preparing sales budgets & strategies, relevant weekly reporting; Draft detailed proposals and detailed costings, and preparing contract documents; Attending industry association events & build influence within industry sectors. In exchange for your hard work will be a well-structured bonus / commission structure allowing for quarterly commission opportunities where you can achieve up to 150% of sales targets and receive a promising return. What you need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferrable; Proven background in industrial / manufacturing sales (compressor industry will be viewed as highly advantageous), minimum 5 years and comfortable with KPIs / sales targets; Ability to be on the road / site visits 70% of the time VIC Tasmania focus; Demonstrated PC Skills & MS Office Suite (SAP, Lotus Notes, Excel, Outlook, Word); Ability to meet deadlines and excellent customer facing capabilities; and Be able to fulfil a role 70% on the road and client facing, along with travel to Tasmania.
