Our apprentice will be hosted to Central Goldfields Shire Council and will gain valuable industry experience whilst undertaking a 'Certificate III in Civil Construction'. Duties Work outdoors across multiple locations Base location to start from and return to at end of each shift Traffic controller management duties Opportunity to work in multiple work groups with a variety of people Full range of road maintenance duties: Loading and unloading equipment Handling/operating hand tools and mobile equipment Operate and maintain major plant and equipment, including operating technical hardware to upload inspection, hazard and defect data Work in road construction and road upgrades/ traffic improvements Requirements Current Construction Induction White Card (or willing to obtain) Willingness to commit to work, study & training requirements Enjoy working outdoors and undertaking hands-on tasks Exposure to civil works desirable Willing to undertake mandatory pre-screening test including medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, hearing test, police check, driver history checks and reference checks.
