What’s on offer? We are looking for an Electrical Service Technician to join our NSW Infrastructure Services maintenance team. The NSW business covers portfolios including asphalt surfacing, materials manufacturing, bitumen spray sealing, civil construction, pavement stabilisation and laboratory services. Our businesses are situated across NSW including Wagga Wagga, Wollongong, Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, and Tamworth. As part of the role, you will be required to provide support in maintaining and working on electrical components across fixed asphalt pants, fixed building facilities, bitumen blending plants, as well as support to our fleet of over 300 various road construction machinery assets and a fleet of over 100 heavy vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Able to travel as this role is predominantly located within Sydney, Newcastle, and Wollongong regions however the suitable applicant will need to be capable of overnight travel to our region depots and worksites as required. Breakdown maintenance at production facilities Upgrade electrical equipment at production facilities, if required. Assist with efficiency analysis of electrical installations at production facilities. Management of external service provides. Outsourcing specialist work and overflow work where required. Administration work required to record completion of works against assets using Fulton Hogan systems. Management of internal test and tagging resources as required. What you will need: Trade qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance or industrial electrician. Leadership experience, you will need to bring a coaching mindset to drive best practice outcomes across the project. Strong attention to detail, the ability to influence and promote a safety culture, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Proven experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
