Your role at St John of God St John of God Geelong Hospital You will assist other members of the Café in providing high quality product and service to all customers, ie; patients, caregivers and all others. This position is varied over a number of different shifts. Responsibilities include efficient delivery of service, customer service, clearing and cleaning of all areas associated with Cafe. Commitment to quality and productivity is expected. The Position Excellent customer service to all patrons of the café. Service to customers with food and beverage. Merchandising food and beverage prior to service hours Clearing and cleaning of all areas associated with the Café. Stock rotation and food storage. Adheres to Infection Management Manual Policy and Procedures. Maintain Universal Blood and Body Substances (BABS) Precautions at all times. You will have previous food preparation experience and experience within a Café and/or food service environment. To be successful, you will have a basic knowledge of all areas of kitchen hygiene. Certificates I & II in Food Handling and Barista Qualifcation is desirable. Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.
