About the Role We seek a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in residential or commercial remedial construction. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the company Directors and undertake critical responsibilities such as conducting building inspections, developing rectification strategies, and designing regulated plans. Key Responsibilities - Conduct thorough assessments of building defects and structural issues in commercial and residential properties. - Develop detailed remediation plans and provide expert recommendations for repairs and improvements. - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of remediation projects. - Prepare comprehensive client reports and documentation outlining findings and proposed solutions. - Monitor and manage remediation project time-lines, compliance, and quality standards. - Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements. Skills & Experience - A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. - Regulated design practitioner qualifications (Facade) under the DBP Act. - At least 5 years of experience in remedial building consulting, with exposure to commercial and residential projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - A proactive and detail-oriented approach to project management. - Knowledge of the BCA/NCC, statutory requirements, and common remedial building materials.
