About your opportunity: In this position you will provide high level administrative support in the overall training of Junior Medical Staff within the CHHHS. About your role: Provide high quality confidential administrative support to the Directors of Clinical Training and Medical Education Officers of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. Liaise with senior management, clinicians and other staff across the Health Service using discretion with sensitive and/or confidential matters and develop ongoing working relationships in the day to day advocacy and education of Junior Doctors across the Hospital and Health Service. Support of quality improvement to meet evidence requirements of the Accreditation Body by providing statistical reports and feedback in an environment of continuous improvement and reflection. Provide efficient administrative and logistical support to allocated committees, working groups and events/functions. This may include the coordination of meetings, preparation of agendas, distribution of minutes, record keeping, venue booking and follow up of actions for local and state-wide committees. Maintain effective time management practices for the Medical Education Team including coordinating diary appointments and prioritising correspondence. Exercise judgment in setting work priorities and problem solving and inform decision making through active participation in Strategic Planning. Co-ordinate and schedule education sessions for Junior Doctors by communicating with influence and liaising with Senior Clinical Staff across the Hospital and Health Service. This will include booking of guest speakers, venues, catering, videoconference and the promotion of events.
