About the role SKG are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual with an understanding of HR principles and practices, to work as a Human Resources Administration Officer within our small HR Team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and relevant HR qualifications, who is looking for a supportive start to your HR career. Responsible to the HR Manager, the principle responsibilities include, but not limited to: End to end Recruitment & Onboarding: Have a direct influence on the business by managing your own recruitment portfolio, comprising of advertising, interviewing and facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new employees including facilitation of employee Orientation sessions. Employee Documentation & Administration: With guidance from the HR Team, prepare and process contracts, contract variations, resignation letters and other HR related correspondence. Probation & Parental Leave: Coordinate the probation and parental leave process for the business. Compliance : Manage and maintain employee data and records for new starter and employee documentation and training attendance. Coordination of HR Tasks : Take sole responsibility for coordination of staff uniforms, annual staff survey and annual exit questionnaire data. HR Policy & Projects: Contribute to the HR policy and project work as requested ensuring compliance. About you Our ideal candidate will have: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources – Bachelor Degree or Diploma Recruitment experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Quick thinking, enthusiastic, and ready to take on challenges in a dynamic workplace Articulate, high attention to detail and accuracy Clear understanding of confidentiality requirements Demonstrated time management skills Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team Ability to prioritise work as well as work under pressure Proficient computer literacy skills i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet and ability to adapt to new systems quickly A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving A good sense of humour and a can do attitude would be highly regarded Recent HR graduates with a minimum of at least 1-year HR practical experience would be advantageous. This position requires the successful applicant to travel to all SKG branches to conduct interviews, along with other business related matters therefore a reliable vehicle and current drivers licence is required. There is an approximate 90/10 time split between our head office in Subiaco (90) and out in the field at the branches (10). Business related car parking and kilometres are reimbursed.
