We pay great rates and are looking for experienced drivers to pick up adhoc shifts with excellent pay While we have drivers on fulltime rosters, we are also interested in experienced HC drivers that are only interested in picking up a few shifts on an adhoc basis. We are in building a pool of highly experienced drivers who can come in as needed for one or two shifts a week or more if that suits you. All shifts are 12 hrs either days or nights, driving is local only and you're getting paid an excellent rate. You are paid for the hours you work; not how many drops you do or how much you cart Responsibilities will include Competently operate a prime mover for moving semi-trailers, B-Double and A-Double combinations. Work will involve palletised, bulk dry and container Skel operations Perform all movements safely and in a timely manner. Liaise with administration and logistics personnel to ensure information is accurate and timely. Documenting details pertinent to the duties that they are undertaking, including trip logs, and hazards, and completing pre-departure checks, tests, and inspections. About you You must be an experienced HC driver and hold a valid HC licence. Have a genuine commitment to safety and always exhibit safe work practices. Understand Chain of Responsibility legislation including fatigue and mass loading requirements. Be able to pass the pre-employment medical. Able and willing to work shifts. Able to meet deadlines without compromising safety. Ability and willingness to operate vehicles in compliance with the appropriate policies, procedures, work instructions and legislation. Maintaining a conscientious approach to work and having positive interactions with work colleagues and customers.
