About the Role This Melbourne-based permanent position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping Trinity Grammar School’s data-driven future. Reporting to the Applications & Solutions Manager and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you will manage and enhance the school’s data platforms and database systems. As part of the Applications & Solutions Team, you’ll contribute to cross-departmental initiatives, enable evidence-based decision-making, and support the school’s transition to a cloud-first environment. Responsibilities As the Data Platform Administrator, you will: Administer and optimise Synergetic, Crystal Reports, and SQL Server environments; Support the implementation of strategic data initiatives, including integration with third-party systems and the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem; Develop and maintain database solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance; Provide technical expertise for database architectural design, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies; Collaborate with internal teams to enhance database platforms and implement innovative data solutions; Maintain documentation for database configurations, standards, and procedures; and Ensure compliance with child safety and ICT security policies. About You The successful candidate will bring: Proven experience in administering Synergetic, SQL Server, and Crystal Reports; Expertise in database platforms such as Azure SQL, with knowledge of Wonde and Data Warehousing; Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Platform (desirable); Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills; A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; and A proactive approach to adopting innovative technologies and enhancing database systems Culture and Values Trinity Grammar School is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative community that reflects its core values: Truth – seeking understanding.
