The Gig An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Design Engineer with an exceptional problem-solving orientation to join the business at a senior level. With a solid plan of ongoing growth, you will support the development and expansion of the Civil and Infrastructure Division focussing on land development. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be accountable for civil design primarily within urban development space, including roads, lot grading and drainage infrastructure. Based in Sydney’s Northwest, and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ply your trade to be trusted with: Designing civil infrastructure for urban development projects, including roads, lot grading, and drainage systems. Executing documentation and design tasks using advanced proficiency in 12D/Civil 3D software. Solving design challenges with foresight and mature judgment, ensuring effective project outcomes. Coordinating and overseeing design and drafting activities to deliver quality drawing sets. Communicating effectively with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure project requirements are met. Managing project invoicing and budgeting, maintaining financial controls and client satisfaction. Implementing and documenting quality control processes to uphold technical excellence and meet client expectations. Developing and refining engineering standards and modern design methodologies within the company. Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior staff, supporting their career growth.
