The Network Administrator key responsibilities are: - Be a key member of the team which manages the data networking infrastructure.- Provide advice to achieve specified business objectives, including the planning, development, and implementation of data networking infrastructure and process improvements.- Monitor the security compliance of the data networking environment and participate in security risk and vulnerability assessments and report on andremediate data networking issues within the environment identified against Queensland Government Information Standards and industry best practices.- Develop and maintain a fit-for-purpose set of work practices within the network management team.- Ensure that management is kept informed of operational issues and emerging risks.- Liaise and work with internal and external workgroups, other Queensland Government agencies, vendors and partners as required.- This role will be required to take part in an on-call roster.
