The Role This is a sales management role where you will not only be leading, coaching and mentoring a small team of BDR’s but you will also be meeting personal sales targets. You’ll work closely with your team to drive the acquisition of new clients, provide top-tier customer service, and deliver exceptional results. This is a highly visible leadership position where you’ll play a key role in the ongoing development and success of the organisation. What You’ll Do Lead by Example: Drive the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals with new clients, both over the phone and face-to-face. Develop Your Team: Coach, mentor, and build the sales capabilities of your team, helping them to reach their full potential and advance their careers. Own Customer Relationships: Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients, managing relationships from the first trade and beyond. Strategic Leadership: Forecast sales performance accurately, implement sales programs, and work collaboratively with other leaders to set and execute regional sales plans. Sales Methodology: Champion the company’s sales processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and driving sales excellence. Team Growth: Play a key role in recruiting and onboarding top talent to expand your team. What We’re Looking For You’re an experienced sales professional with a track record of success in financial services (e.g., trade finance, international payments, cash management etc). Having managerial experience is highly beneficial but they would consider someone who wants to take a step up and has leadership qualities/abilities. Skills & Experience Sales Leadership: Proven experience in sales management is highly regarded within financial services, with a strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics. Relationship Builder: You have a natural ability to negotiate, build, and leverage relationships with senior stakeholders, especially within SME clients. Coaching & Development: Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop individuals, helping them reach their potential and achieve exceptional sales results. Australia Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the local Australian market Exceptional Communicator: First-class communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
