As a National sales manager, you will provide purposeful leadership, clear vision and objective and development of the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the companies mission and vision throughout Australia. Description · Implement and manage short-and-long term business strategies to effectively support business plan objective · Execute, in coordination with the sales team and commercial counterparts, all sales activities, promotional campaigns and projects as per the annual brand plans and commercial strategies · Coach and manage the sales team to deliver the monthly, quarterly and annual objectives and ensure excellent execution and implementation of key strategies and tactics for each sales cycle · Prepare and measure annual performance achievement plans for each team member that includes annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business. · Analyze sales result by products and territories and the factors influencing the results in coordination with the marketing team, and provide coaching, feedback and recommendations to ensure successful achievement · Ensure effective utilization and optimization of the CRM and digital engagement platforms · Foster and champion collaboration and effective communication within the sales team and between the sales team and cross functional commercial and non-commercial colleagues. · Liaise and collaborate cross functionally inputting into integrated brand plan, marketing strategies and provide key customer insights to inform decisions · Ensure high organisational engagement within the team through development, performance and engagement discussions with each member of the team; and implementation of engagement and development action plans · Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with key accounts, decision makers and stakeholders to identify and drive key partnership opportunities, gain deep insights, uncover unmet needs, promote brand awareness and strengthen organizational relationships. · Contribute as a member of the local extended leadership team · Attend and contribute to the organisation of key internal and external meetings and congresses Profile · Strong leadership and coaching skills that influence a positive, open, challenging and exciting working environment · Previous people management experience is essential and experience in a similar national role will be advantageous · Extensive customer facing experience within the Healthcare industry, with experience in the women's health area and institutional account management a distinct advantage · Exceptional at building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; and communicating informally and formally across all stakeholder groups · Ability to implement innovative partnerships with key accounts · Anticipates and appropriately responds to customer objections, problems, and concerns with a demonstrated ability to absorb, process and communicate complex product, disease and marketplace knowledge. · Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills including active listening skills and expertise in negotiations, Fluent in English · Experience managing budgets and establishing sales forecasts · Ability to adapt, drive change and plan for future success Job Offer A competitive salary range with various benefits Be a part of building and growing a very valuable brand for the company Flexible working arrangements Exciting benefits which will be shared individually The company strives to build and maintain an inclusive and diverse workplace with equal opportunities and mutual respect for all employees regardless of their backgrounds and socioeconomic status.
