About the role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented OH&S Officer to join our construction team in Metropolitan Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees on site. Responsibilities: Regularly inspect site operations, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with OH&S standards and company policies. Maintain and update SWMS on various systems such as Procore, Hammertech, Breadcrumb etc. Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs in alignment with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety training and inductions for all site workers and sub-contractors. Ensure that all incidents are promptly reported and thoroughly investigated. Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities and incident reports. Please note this role will operate as a hybrid model between OH&S duties and general site tasks: sweeping up, transporting materials and more until the structure has been formed Requirements: Proven experience as an OH&S officer in the construction industry. Must hold a valid white card. Level 2 First Aid Certificate. Traffic Management ticket. Certificate / Diploma of OH&S advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
