Project Co-ordinator opportunity with reputable Fitout & New build practice based in Sydney CBD Construction Project Co-ordinator - Sydney Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for managing complex projects in a fast-paced construction environment? Harrison-Barrat Group are currently looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join one of our reputable clients in the Fit-out & Refurbishment space in Sydney. If you thrive on coordinating multiple tasks, ensuring projects stay on schedule, and working closely with contractors, vendors, and clients, we want to hear from you Our client A leading firm in commercial construction with a specific focus on delivering high-quality, Fit-out projects across office, retail and hospitality spaces in Sydney. Role Overview: As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of the project team, working closely with Project Managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects. Your role will involve planning, tracking, and supporting all aspects of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to project completion. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Assist in creating detailed project schedules and ensure all deadlines are met. Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project documentation, contracts, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information). Communication Hub: Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution. Budget & Resource Tracking: Help track project budgets, manage procurement processes, and monitor resource allocation. Site Visits: Support site managers in ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. Problem Solving: Proactively identify issues, resolve conflicts, and find solutions to keep projects on track. What We’re Looking For: Experience: At least 2-3 years in commercial construction project coordination or a related field. Education: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication, proficiency with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, etc.), and a solid understanding of construction processes. Attributes: A proactive, solution-driven attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
