You will work on a variety of projects, including residential renovations, commercial fit-outs, and custom builds, ensuring every detail is executed to perfection. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Interpret plans, and specifications to construct, repair, or install structures and fixtures. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials (e.g., wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials) to meet project requirements. Construct formwork to facilitate concrete pours. Construct frameworks, partitions, and other structural elements for residential and commercial projects when required. Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on existing structures as part of ongoing projects. Collaborate with project managers, tradespeople, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for construction challenges. Qualifications and Skills: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification. At least 3 years of skilled and proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably within the remediation and commercial construction sectors. Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings. High level of attention to detail and craftsmanship in all tasks. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices. Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour and working at heights. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
