Forklift Operator required to load/unload trucks, maintain workshop supply of materials and loading products in tight spaces. Permanent role. Our client is a well-known manufacturer of steel products for the building and construction sector and are seeking a Forklift Operator who has relevant experience moving steel inside a workshop with tight spaces. The Forklift Operator role works a 38 hour week, starting at 7am. Pay rate on offer is $32.25. Your duties are to operate Forklifts (2.5T,3T and 7T) to load or unload trucks, load materials into the warehouse, liaise with production staff and maintain the flow of materials in and products out. There is also some yard duties as part of the role. To be successful you will need very good Forklift skills (LF) in order to maneuver and carry long sheeting, beams etc. around/over/between machinery, in a safe manner.
