Your Opportunity As the Customer Service Sales Officer, you will: Provide accurate information to prospective and existing clients, to sell and on-sell the Region's programs and services, complete enrolments, and receipt payments. This position reports to the Manager, Customer Service. This is a Temporary Full Time opportunity, to 22/04/2025 unless otherwise determined. The position will be based primarily at Southport however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses. Key Responsibilities Represent TAFE Queensland Gold Coast as the first point of contact for clients. Utilise sales techniques to convert enquiries into new business opportunities via face to face, telephone, email and WebChat. Process student enrolments using various payment options. Maintain knowledge of TAFE Queensland Gold Coast products and services. Ensure all relevant records are up-to-date and accurate. Contribute to the collective achievement of service level agreements and targets. Undertake research and development on matters relating to business functions. Ensure day to day activities align with business operations. Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices. Model and actively promote an ethical and safe work environment that supports a culture of zero harm and best practice regarding health, safety, wellness, and sustainability. How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities: Extensive knowledge or ability to rapidly acquire extensive knowledge of TAFE Queensland Gold Coast products, services and operations. Demonstrated achievement in a customer service/call centre environment. Demonstrated ability to provide prompt and professional client service by building and sustaining positive relationships, resolving conflict and solving problems. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant specialist software packages. Displays the initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment.
