The Head of Engineering will ensure that the Engineering function stays at forefront of innovation by leading a high-performing engineering team that delivers innovative solutions for their customers. Description The Head of Engineering will be responsible for: Overseeing and optimising a diverse technology stack, which includes C++, Java, Typescript/Angular, Python, Perl, .NET, Salesforce, and AWS Improving Product Delivery Managing a global engineering team Driving transformational change Implementing a mature Agile methodology across engineering teams to enhance flexibility, productivity, and responsiveness Acting as a key liaison between engineering and internal stakeholders Ensuring effective collaboration between onshore and offshore teams, driving the delivery of current and future objectives while embedding a culture of accountability and innovation Profile As the succsessful candidate you will ideally possess: Previous experience in a Head of Engineering or similar position Proven experience in leading engineering teams in a technology-driven environment Strong background in Agile methodologies and project management Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and architectural design principles Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in presenting to executive stakeholders Relevant qualifications in Computer Science or Engineering Experience in process optimisation Change Management - proven experience leading teams through organisational change Strong leadership and team-building skills. Adaptability to lead transformational change in a complex environment Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities Technology stack exposure: C++, Java, TypeScript/Angular (for web apps), Python, Perl, TypeScript, .NET, Salesforce and AWS Job Offer Global Technology Leader.
