This role offers the opportunity to work in-office with potential flexibility to work from home. About the role: The Manager, Scholarships will be responsible for the deliverables of a large number of Australian Government funded scholarship programs, as well as the Grants and Awards. About the Organisation: Our client is a not-for-profit health organisation they are a national voice of nurses focused on policy, advocacy, and education to advance the status, recognition, and respect for the industry. Duties include: Ensure compliance with Australian Government contractual requirements. Lead and manage the team to deliver the full scholarship administration cycle, from applications to ongoing support for scholarship holders. Collaborate with the Manager – Marketing and Communications to ensure timely advertising and promotion of scholarship programs. Develop, implement, and evaluate scholarship programs to achieve strategic goals. Accurately collect and manage data related to scholarships, preparing required reports for Government stakeholders. Assess and enhance systems, including IT platforms, to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee departmental staff, ensuring effective management and development. To be successful you will have: Business degree and a high level of demonstrated practical experience in this arena. Demonstrated experience in contract management, managing complex budgets, and timely reports. Demonstrated ability to understand and met contractual requirements of government contracts. Ability to prepare funding proposals/tenders for new and existing scholarship programs. Participated in professional development relevant to role. A demonstrated ability in high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
