We are currently have two vacancies we're looking to fill: Mechanical Engineering Technician - MET - Thurgoona Painting Trades Worker - Penrith Mechanical Engineering Technician Applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role and hold a relevant qualification. Duties for the Mechanical Engineering Technician role include: Production Technical Support - - Provide technical support to the production team to resolve operational issues. - Monitor production metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met. - Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process problems to minimize downtime. Quality Assurance - - Ensure that production processes meet established quality standards and specifications. - Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues. Training and Development - - Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality standards. - Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Documentation and Reporting - - Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, improvements, and quality control activities. - Prepare and present technical reports and production performance summaries. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) - - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Participate in HSE audits and risk assessments. - Promote safe work practices and a safe working environment. The successful applicants will be offered a remuneration between $73,150 - $81,016. Painting Trades Worker Applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role and hold a relevant qualification. Duties for the Painting Trades Worker role include: Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. Colour Selection: Matching colours to client's specification. Painting and Finishing: Determining and mixing correct ratios of flow coat and catalyst to ensure finished product is cured. Application: Applying paint, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Repair Work: Fixing minor surface imperfections, such as preparing filler for holes and cracks, and finishing after repaired. Safety Practices: Using safety equipment and following safety protocols to minimize hazards. Cleanup: Cleaning tools and work areas after a job is completed. Tools and Equipment Maintenance: Keeping tools in good working condition and performing minor repairs. Other suitable tasks related to the stated purpose of the position. The successful applicants will be offered a remuneration between $73,150 - $75,000.
