Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Full-time temporary up to 8 months (possibility of extension) Sydney location with hybrid working Salary range between $120,859 - $133,183 plus superannuation As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the resourcing, implementation and review of large and/or complex quality assurance activities. This will include compliance monitoring, issue resolution and reporting to provide consistent quality assurance. About the team This role sits within the Digital Fines & Debt Tribe within Revenue NSW Digital. The Fines Management squad is responsible for the maintenance, support, development and enhancement of Revenue NSW’s Infringement Management System (IMPS) and various customer-facing services which enable millions of NSW citizens to pay and administer fines each year. Please note - While is role is currently funded up to 8 months to support the delivery of the above projects, there is the possibly of this role being extended up to 5 years. In this role you will: Coach and support other Quality Assurance Engineers Create test plans, test status and summary reports. Analyse the business requirements, user stories and system solutions. Provide the superior testing competencies to ensure testing is efficient and completed in time using planning skills and working with the assigned team. Create and execute automated tests for the assigned work in an efficient and productive manner to ensure testing is delivered to quality and within time parameters. Execute functional, non-functional, and regression tests (as applicable) To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Strong experience in QA planning, co-ordination and execution within an Agile environment Strong experience in both front end and backend test automation with tools such as, Selenium in Java, TestNG, Cucumber, Maven Postman, RestAssured Experience of writing test scripts including the required SQL commands and reference to validating results. Previous experience integrating to continuous delivery and integration pipelines Knowledge in testing within an AWS cloud architecture Experience in vendor engagement Experience with relational databases and various operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows) Experience with performance testing using JMeter Knowledge of security testing An ability to work to deadlines and balance competing needs What we need from you: An up-to-date CV and a brief cover letter outlining how your skills and experience are aligned to the role.
