We look forward to welcoming a dynamic and talented individual to join us in shaping this role and contributing to our thriving school community Job Description About the Role: The Data and Administration Co-Ordinator at John Paul College will play a vital role in supporting the Secondary School Leadership Team through key administrative functions. The main responsibilities include managing school databases, coordinating teacher absences, and helping to develop precise schedules and timetables. This position is essential for ensuring data accuracy and smooth daily operations in the Secondary School. This role will also be involved in administering assessments, organizing logistics for parent-teacher interviews, and supporting various school events. This role will involve managing key administrative tasks, including database upkeep, teacher absence coordination, and timetable support. Being central to our ongoing operational success, this role will ensure accurate records, smooth scheduling, and effective administrative operations, contributing to the college’s commitment to excellence in education. This is a part-time role, operating 38 weeks per year during school terms, plus an additional week before the start of the academic year. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 2:45 pm, with a 40-minute unpaid meal break daily, totaling 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will have access to our incredible facilities including College gym, on site parking and barista quality coffee machines This role will also be eligible for tuition and OSHC discounts at John Paul College. Desired Skills and Experience About You: We’re looking for candidates with prior experience in a similar setting who bring strong organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills, along with the ability to work logically and adaptively. Candidates should be a committed professionals with a minimum of 3 years in a school administration support role and previous experience with: Management : Proficient in managing and maintaining databases with a focus on data accuracy. Organizational Skills : Skilled in scheduling, record-keeping, and coordinating school events and coverage. Effective Communication : Excellent verbal and written skills, with an ability to liaise across departments. Problem-Solving Ability : Capable of independently addressing operational needs and supporting efficient school functions.
