About the Role As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing consultancy and technical deliverables on a diverse range of water management, infrastructure and environmental projects and support the wider business in managing geotechnical risk. You will collaborate with diverse professionals on technically challenging projects, driving future-ready outcomes for clients and communities. Key Responsibilities: Provide consultancy services and technical deliverables to existing and new clients. Offer project management and technical direction to clients both locally and regionally Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, providing input to geotechnical projects. Scope, manage and execute geotechnical investigation programs of work. Undertake geotechnical interpretation and leadership of design elements, including management of internal and external clients. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and supporting the wider business with management of geotechnical risk. Partner with key clients to understand their needs, guide expectations, and deliver solution-based outcomes. Develop, grow, and mentor junior colleagues. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Geology, coupled with consulting experience. CPEng or relevant professional accreditation highly regarded, or progression towards attainment. Previous consulting experience in mining-related projects. Experience in design of water management infrastructure is desired. Fieldwork experience including drilling supervision, geological logging, and sampling. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Willingness to travel for project work (typically within Australia).
