The Art Gallery attracts around 2 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year. With our expanded campus the Gallery has a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. About the role Provide a range of executive and administrative support services to the Office of the Director across a range of complex matters to ensure consistent communication between the office and Art Gallery’s internal and external stakeholders For more information about the role please view the role description and information for applicants or call the nominated contact person listed in the advertisement. What technical / soft skills you require Demonstrated success in the provision of administrative support to senior executives. Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues with a high level of tact and discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders. Ability to determine priorities in an environment of tight and conflicting deadlines, using a high degree of initiative and independence. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. High-level keyboard skills and extensive experience in the use of a range of Microsoft software Targeted questions Discuss how you would manage competing demands from senior stakeholders or customers while undertaking a range of important tasks that require attention to detail and must be completed within tight timeframes. ( maximum of 400 words) Describe a situation where you have managed a highly sensitive or confidential project that required you to liaise with stakeholders to gather information and data. Explain your approach to gathering and managing confidential information whilst maintaining discretion regarding the project aims.
