Toowoomba manufacturer is looking for a solution focused draftsperson to produce Inventor CAD Designs - manual handling, conveyor, tank design. Client & Engineer: A manufacturing company that produces equipment for the manual handling, storage, and mining industries. Employing 400 , with offices in QLD, NSW, and WA is looking to hire a Design Draftsperson to produce state-of-the-art Inventor Drawings. Job: Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you must combine your engineering skills with practical experience to produce 3D design drawings. Clarify and improve 3D designs by liaising with internal sales teams, external suppliers, and EPCMs / end clients. Mechanical Conveyor Design, Component & Machined parts design (screw conveyors, drag conveyors, flop gate diverters, slide gates, bucket elevators, platforms, and Access Ladders. Drafting of tanks, P&ID's, detailed fabrication drawings, and more. Structural Steel fabrication designs, both new design and updating existing drafts (pipework, roofing, stairs, walkways, platforms). Produce Drafts and Designs with AutoCAD and Inventor. Ensure projects comply with Australian standards and codes To apply you will have: Full working rights in Australia. Ability to evaluate a sales brief and produce 3D CAD designs. At least 2 years of design experience. Excellent 3D design and detailing skills - Inventor. Ability to record own BOM’s. Salary: Our client offers competitive remuneration packages, which vary with experience, $75,000 to $85,000 Super.
