About the role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Truck Driver, at our Ingham location. Reporting to the Store Manager, this is a permanent, part-time position offering 12 hours per week. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award, level 2. You will successfully Undertake the pickup and delivery of furniture and goods as per instructions from the relevant Family Store Manager and in accordance with the schedule, as per all WHS manual handling procedures/protocols. Provide excellent service as a primary customer contact for the Family Stores. Maintain stock to required standards and ensure goods are stored and rotated appropriately. Provide retail floor assistance as needed including sorting, pricing and moving donated goods. Maintain a safe, clean and uncluttered workspace. You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications) Minimum 2 years’ experience in driving commercial vehicles. Current valid driver’s licence. Previous experience in a customer facing role. Competent computer skills and ability to use software applications to complete work and training goals. A good level of fitness to carry out the duties of the position. This position will require physical ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods time. The role will require you to push, pull, lift, carry, restrain stock and climb ladders etc. Such work will be undertaken in accordance with WHS policies and procedures. Current valid Driver’s Licence. First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
