Senior Identity & Access Design Officer Location – Sydney Metro/Greater Metro Employment type – Ongoing Clerk grade 9/10. Salary – $120,859 to $133,183, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role You’ll work with the Access and Control Manager to deliver security initiatives and deliverables. This role requires extensive experience in SAP security, identity management, and role definition, especially from an ERP integration perspective. You’ll provide independent, analytical, and strategic input on system user access control, leadership, and advice within MyWorkZone. What you’ll do Your Responsibilities: Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance for evolving security standards, promoting adoption to reduce costs and risks for future initiatives. Ensure stakeholder governance for visibility, demand capture, and activity prioritization. Security Oversight: Oversee security architecture, design, development, and implementation, ensuring all functional security requirements and designs are met and align with MyWorkZone Security Architecture. Expertise and Leadership: Act as the go-to person for all security-related questions across the Cluster. Innovate by using standard design principles and services to optimize outcomes and reduce security risks. Policy Development: Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain application security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures that align with the corporate strategic plan. Support projects during implementation, manage transitions, and provide post-go-live support. What we’re looking for Innovation in Complex Environments: Operate in a complex organization undergoing significant structural and service delivery reforms, using innovative strategies to deliver successful and sustainable services. Technical Expertise: Apply and monitor technical expertise in a rapidly changing environment while staying committed to achieving business objectives. Information Management: Address varying levels of information maturity and operational commitment across DCJ, educating business areas on best practices for information management. Balancing Priorities: Identify and balance the needs of roadmap-initiated programs and day-to-day operations, managing multiple changes and work programs in a dynamic business environment. Knowledge Maintenance: Build and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Reporting, Analytics, Technical Solutions, Integration with the Platform, and development requirements within MyWorkZone. Ensure this capability is maintained across internal teams and outsourced service providers. Decision Making: Make decisions that ensure the ICT Directorate is supported by application design and development to improve business outcomes. Download the role description.
