Exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator to join a trusted local business on a permanent part-time basis. About the Company Our client, J Smith Motors, has been in the automotive industry for nearly 70 years. They are renowned in the region for their high quality and service, and are a proud RACV roadside services provider 24/7, all year round. Their team of mechanics are highly trained and experienced, with advanced skills & knowledge in vehicle diagnostics. As one of the Latrobe Valley’s longest serving independent car centres, J Smith Motors have developed a very strong reputation for automotive skills and knowledge. About the Role As an Office Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of the business and office. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly rewarding and fast-paced environment with a supportive, loyal team. You will be the face of the business, handling customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone, so high-level customer service is key. The successful candidate will also be responsible for all the financial and administrative tasks for the business. The role is permanent part-time, based at their main office in Morwell. The hours are Monday-Wednesday, 8am-5pm. The full-time remuneration package is $62k plus super and is 0.6 FTE. Duties and Responsibilities Monthly account reconciliations & BAS preparation via Reckon Processing weekly wages Managing company accounts and forecasting EOM payments Invoicing & receipting via Reckon Managing all office & reception enquiries Providing excellent customer service Efficient time management in a busy office environment Skills and Experience Strong experience with Reckon accounting software (essential) Experience in company finance processes (BAS, STP, superannuation, etc.) Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Previous experience in office administration or a similar role (highly desirable) Benefits Opportunity to work in a reputable and highly regarded local business Collaborative & support team environment Permanent employment How to apply?
