Role Purpose: As a Projects Engineer, you will lead engineering projects on-site, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will coordinate resources, track project progress, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This role requires working closely with Maintenance Technicians and the leadership team to meet project goals. Develop project scopes and work with contractors to get the job done. Track and report project progress to stakeholders. Ensure all site work complies with safety, food manufacturing, and local regulations. Attend meetings and align engineering work with production goals. Document any plant and procedure changes. Promote safety and continuous improvement in engineering and maintenance. Create a supportive work environment and treat everyone with respect. Follow and enforce company policies and values. Mentor and coach team members to build strong skills and leadership. Comply with company standards, policies, and procedures. Implement safety practices and risk management. Ensure all work follows required standards (OHS, BRC, HACCP, GMP). Follow all health and safety regulations and food safety requirements. Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience with a trade qualification. Engineering degree (preferred) and 5 years of relevant experience. Minimum 2 years of industrial project leadership experience. Experience in industrial, production, or facility maintenance. Strong planning, organisation, and reporting skills. Excellent problem-solving and technical skills. Reliable, motivated, and punctual. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
