. Position Information Rowena Public School is in the Walgett Shire and belongs to the Barwon Principal’s Network of schools and the Barwon Community of Schools. It is located 100km North East of Walgett, 140km North West of Narrabri and 117km South West of Moree. Through droughts and flooding rain, Rowena Public School is considered the hub of the community. It provides consistent support and is a source of pride and connection, not only for the local community but across the wider district. The school is well resourced with excellent facilities for its students; these include stimulating learning environments, covered playground equipment, as well as their own swimming pool. An integrated early learning program is also located on the school grounds.
