Through community visits, collaboration with the ED team, engagement with consumers, community partnerships, and autonomous decision-making, the Clinical Nurse Consultant will play a vital role in transforming healthcare delivery, improving the patient journey, and ensuring holistic patient well-being. This senior role offers a chance to work with allied health leaders, utilise advanced assessment skills, and build relationships that contribute to the betterment of healthcare in the South Western Sydney Local Health District. What You'll be Doing The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence based practice. The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
