About the Role A school of Good Samaritan Education , Rosebank College seeks expressions of interest for the Diverse Learning Teacher Assistant position to join the Diverse Learning Faculty Department in this Temporary part-time (0.6 FTE) position, 3 days per week (term time only). Mondays and Fridays are essential, with the third day of work negotiable and to be discussed with the interviewed candidates. Commencing in Term 1, 2025, and reporting to the Diverse Learning Coordinator, the Diverse Learning Teacher Assistant will support the Diverse Learning Team by assisting with the day-to-day tasks of the Diverse Learning faculty to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate operation. The Diverse Learning Teacher Assistant will collaborate with the faculty and teaching staff across the college as required and undertake responsibilities within the team as required by the Diverse Learning Coordinator. About You To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria: Proven experience in a similar position with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (ideally in a secondary school setting); Relevant administration qualifications as desirable (e.g., Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support); The ability to work independently and contribute to the efficiency and organisation of a highly interactive and complex environment; High level of interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders; Ability to assist a child with toileting needs as required; Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality and privacy of all stakeholders; Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a professional, flexible, and adaptable approach to a varied and competing workload; Sound knowledge with a high level of computer literacy and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office, Google, database management, and general website and internet use; First Aid Qualification; Possess a valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one); Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; A commitment to the child safeguarding principles; Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College.
