You will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and solid IT skills to ensure the home’s administrative processes are streamlined and efficient. You will often be the first person to greet visitors, families and loved ones to the Home; and a go-to person for general enquiries. A friendly sociable personality coupled with empathy and compassion for the elderly will make you a perfect fit for this client-centred “front of house” role. This is a permanent part-time position with minimum of 75 hours per fortnight. Some of your duties may include: Overseeing and managing effective operational administrative activities Assisting with new admissions to the facility Liaising with residents and their families to support the transition into care from an administrative perspective Preparation and management of documents and spreadsheet data as required, including but not limited to staff records, site inductions and compliance Assisting the Manager in updating and managing the roster in conjunction the rostering team Reception duties – face to face and over the phone Processing of invoices in preparation for payment and maintenance of petty cash Maintaining staff personnel records including registrations and certificates What will you bring to the role? Experience working in an administrative role within Aged Care or Health care setting (desired) Administrative and reception experience Understanding of staff rosters Sound written, numerical and oral communication skills Problem solving ability Time, task and priority management A welcoming personality with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people High level information technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
