The Role The role will suit a candidate with excellent ASIC and compliance experience and a good degree of initiative. Provide accurate and timely administration and support Comfortable working in an accounting practice Interest in Financial Services Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks Maintaining financial records and reconciling accounts under the direction of accounting staff. Comfortable and confident talking to clients, providing accounting and advisory support. Advising clients on ASIC compliance and governance matters. Supporting a team of 6 accountants Maintaining databases and other tracking tools as required. Participation in a variety of team projects. What you will need Previous experience in a similar role (ASIC experience and experience with ATO is preferred). Excellent attention to detail. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. Excellent customer/client service skills, preferably with experience working in a client facing role. Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure.
