Job Description Seeking a Devops Engineer to work closely with development teams to provide (and support) the environment needed to deliver the organisation’s services quickly and efficiently, using automation and self-service. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for fulfilling the operational requirements in the departments AZURE Platform One tenancy. This includes utilizing established and emerging pipelines to support business applications and core platform functions such as VDI, DNS, and developer workstations. Previous experience in workstation and DNS functions are highly desirable requirements. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with the AZURE hosting platform team and other stakeholders to provide feedback and suggestions for improving the infrastructure solutions within the AZURE Platform One hosting platform. As a Blackberry Engineer you will be overseeing and assuring the external vendor managed Blackberry landscape, reporting as required to management. The Platform Services section within the Infrastructure Technology & Cloud Services Branch is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer with Blackberry management skills to deploy cloud-based infrastructure solutions using developed Azure DevOps processes, practices and pipelines as well as providing governance and assurance for the Department’s vendor managed Blackberry application for protected mobile email. This role involves working closely with the departments AZURE Platform One team for operational guidance and to ensure that the infrastructure solutions align with business requirements, product requirements and best practices as well as a working knowledge of current Blackberry practices. Essential criteria 1. Experience in managing a complex Blackberry environment. 2. Experience in deploying at scale Azure Infrastructure resources like AAD, DNS and App Gateway. 3. Experience in L3 infrastructure support for business applications. 4. Experience working for the Federal Government with considerations to compliance with the IT security environment ( Essential 8, etc.). 5. Experience in producing technical documentation for application deployment and infrastructure services. 6. Experience with automation tools, for example PowerShell.
