We are seeking dedicated and vigilant part-time Security Officers for an agricultural/farm site in Mernda, VIC. The role involves static guarding to ensure the safety and security of the site. About the Role: As a Security Officer stationed at the gatehouse, your main responsibility is to monitor and control entry and exit points, preventing unauthorised access and ensuring a safe environment. Key duties include: Stationing at the entrance to manage access and egress of people, vehicles, and goods. Rotating shifts across days, afternoons, and nights. Conducting regular roving foot patrols. Responding to alarms and providing emergency response support. Assisting site staff as needed. Maintaining accurate records and incident logs. Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for individuals who are proactive, reliable, and attentive to detail, with experience in security or a similar role. Requirements : To excel in this role, you should have: Current VIC Licence (Required) Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (Required) Police Check (Required) Experience in Security or Similar Role : Preferably with experience in static guarding, access control, or gatehouse operations. Strong Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and visitors. Physical Fitness : Physical fitness to fulfill duties and stand for long periods Flexibility with Shifts: Availability for rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights.
