12 12 month contract - January 25 start $950 - $1200 per day (inc-Super) - market estimate Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra or Perth Obtain your Baseline Security Clearance Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, are Seeking the experience of an Test Lead for a long 12 month contract based in ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC or WA. Duties of the Test Lead Conduct functional, system, integration, regression, load and performance testing. Prepare test strategy and test plans. Design, write, and execute effective test cases and create test data as needed. Discover, reproduce, prioritize, retest, and clearly document software defects. Actively participate with the team in software requirements, analysis, design phases to provide early and continuous quality feedback. Collaborate with Business Analysts, System Analysts, Architects, and Business Subject Matter Experts to clarify system behaviour and business processes. Skills and Experience Required Over 5 years of experience writing test plans & test cases and executing testing (including Manual Testing) for complex systems. Familiarity with testing third-party integrations & ensuring compatibility within complex systems. Experience testing call centre (IVR) and related technologies (e.g. operational reporting and workforce management systems) (desired). Experience with Test Automation as part of CI/CD pipeline, including technologies/skills such as: Javascript, Python, Playwright, Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, K6 Load testing tool, Jmeter (desired). Competency in Programming, including practical knowledge of Javascript, Node.js, Python (desired). Version controlling with GIT (desired). Demonstrated competency in developing, auditing and reviewing code; Playwright, Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber.js test automation frameworks (desired). Experience developing & executing Load Tests; K6 Load Testing tool, Jmeter (desired). API Testing - hands-on experience developing & executing RESTful API Tests (desired). Experience using Regular Expressions and XPath (desired). Experience with Agile and DevOps/Jira processes/environment, and exposure to Test Management tools like X-Ray / JIRA / ALM (desired). Experience working in a cloud environment - specifically AWS (desired).
