Join our Central Capabilities team in Risk Technology as an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer and build new tools for our Risk Technology team to use. Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based systems and ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of our cloud resources. Your role will be crucial for supporting our existing Kafka platform and for building and onboarding new tools/technologies as part of a central platform. You will have a blend of technical expertise, passion for cloud technology, and a deep understanding of Confluent Kafka and its ecosystem. What you offer Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility 6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS Proven experience with Confluent Kafka, including setup, configuration, and management of clusters Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly those related to computing, storage, networking, and security Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) Knowledge of additional messaging systems (e.g., AWS SQS, SNS) will be beneficial Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) and log management solutions We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
