About the role: The Cloud Solution Engineer reports into the Cloud Solution Engineering Leader and is responsible for building capability and maturing operational ways of working across multiple cross-function delivery teams, with focus on technical excellence and a high-performance culture. Work collaboratively with Development teams to design, deploy and operate their applications in the AWS Environment. Be Impactful when you are applying: This role will be instrumental to deliver our technology solution roadmap by utilising your experience and skills in the following areas; Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems or formal training through a focused, reputable provider (eg. General Assembly) Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience Strong development skills in one or more of: Typescript Python Apache Airflow Terraform AWS componentry such as Lambda, Kafka/MSK Must have a strong understanding of DevOps concepts and use including CI/CD platforms and practices utilising infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, ‘cattle-not-pets’ and so on Must have extensive experience in developing web services (i.e., SOAP and REST) Must have experience in integrating with API & File transfer platforms such as AWS Lamba, Apache Kafka etc Must have strong experience and ability to design solutions to complex Business problems Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and able to provide technical leadership to team How to Apply: If you’re ready to ‘light the way’ towards your next career move, click the 'Apply’ button to submit a confidential application.
