If you enjoy tackling technical challenges, collaborating with a dynamic team, and want your expertise to make a difference, this long-term contract could be perfect for you The Role As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you'll be the expert for our modern workplace technology, enabling a secure and efficient digital environment. You’ll oversee Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Autopilot, and play a crucial role in our cloud migration initiatives. In addition, you'll manage SCCM for on-prem systems, oversee server patching schedules, and support SOE and application packaging, helping to create a modern, adaptable workplace. Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 Management: Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 tenant and associated services. Tier 3 Support: Offer Tier 3 support for issues related to modern workplace tools. Autopilot & Device Provisioning: Manage Microsoft Autopilot for streamlined device setup and management. Security Management: Oversee security using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, data loss prevention, encryption, and identity management. Cloud & Hybrid Support: Lead cloud migration efforts and hybrid environment management, ensuring smooth transitions from on-premises systems. SCCM Administration: Handle SCCM management for on-premises systems, ensuring efficient server patching and application packaging. Active Directory & Group Policy: Configure and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy to support secure system operations. Digital Workplace Improvement: Partner with IT, business teams, and clients to drive ongoing digital workplace enhancements. About You Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, MECM, and other modern workplace tools. Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID. Proven experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid (on-prem to cloud) environments. Expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Enterprise Mobility Security (EMS), and Teams. Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering quality solutions. Relevant Microsoft certifications like MD-102 and/or MS-102 are highly valued. What to Expect Efficiently handle incidents, problems, and service requests. Provide clear updates and resolutions, prioritizing based on urgency. Design and deploy Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions, including Windows 10/11, Intune, and Autopilot. Ensure compliance with security standards and manage hardware lifecycle seamlessly. Support and train the Service Desk and Desktop Support teams.
