Job Description The Service KU ANSTO Children's Centre located in ANSTO Lucas Heights Campus (South of Sydney towards Menai), this site would suit someone who has their own transport that has parking available. The service is a purpose built long day care service for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Specifically designed to meet the needs of Australia's Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) families, the centre offers an excellent learning environment for young children, with specially designed indoor and outdoor spaces within the bushland setting. The philosophies of 'Circle of Security' and the Educaring Approach underpin our daily practice of supporting children's emotional wellbeing. We provide a “loose parts approach” to our resources in our outdoor environment. Natural, manufactured, and re-used loose parts have been sourced and added, which can be moved, carried, re-designed, lined up, taken apart and put back together in multiple ways. This approach offers a significant contribution to children’s physical, social and intellectual development. The Role We are looking for an organised and outgoing administrator to provide a range of administrative duties vital to the efficient operations of the service on a part time, permanent basis. You will be the first point of contact for families managing enrolments, family accounts and the centre’s waiting list using the software XAP, s ome general accounting tasks, responding to email and phone queries’ and assisting the Director with a range of tasks including filing and record keeping. The working hours are 20 hours per week, hours and days of work are negotiable and will be discussed with candidate at interview.
